What this site collects

Visits

To see how the site is used, its own script counts the public pages you view. For each visit we keep the pages, the time, the site that linked here, your approximate location (country, region and city), the type of device, browser and operating system, and the organization that owns the network you connect from. We never store your IP address; we use it only to look up the location and network, then discard it.

Nothing is sent to third parties: no advertising, no analytics services, no social media trackers.

Cookies

  • qmv: a random number that lets us count returning visitors (13 months). In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we set it only after you accept; elsewhere you can turn it off with Global Privacy Control, which we honor. Without it, a visit is counted anonymously for that day only.
  • qmc: your choice about qmv, where we ask (13 months).
  • A session cookie when you sign in, needed to keep you signed in.

Messages

What you send with the contact form (your name, email and message) is kept so we can answer it, and forwarded to our team by email.

Retention

Visit records are deleted after 13 months.
